Nevada’s course, put together by the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW), requires an independent study portion, in addition to course conducted in a classroom setting. The independent study portion can be completed with a workbook you can pick up from any NDOW office, or online through one of their hunter education website partners. The in class portion is a minimum of 8 hour, and has with a written and practical exam at the end of the course.
